Education: Degree in Physics. Master in Techniques for Earth Observation data, at the University of Bari (Physics dept.). He is author of some published papers in related to processing techniques of satellite derived data.

Languages: Italian (mother tongue); English (fluent); French (basic).

Background: From 1998 to 2002 he worked at the CNR Imetem institute for the study of advanced materials for the application in micro-electronics, issuing some publications. In 2003 apprenticeship at the Italian Space Agency (ASI) in the Spatial Geodesy Centre in Matera for the Master in “Technologies for the Remote Sensing from Space” on the generation of landslide risk maps by combining earth observation and other data types/sources. From 2003 to 2005 he worked in Telespazio (at the Spatial Geodesy Centre in Matera) for the project “COSOT – Development of Industrial Districts in the Earth Observation”, in particular on integrated techniques for the elaboration of earth observation data for the estimation of hydrological and hydraulic parameters. From 2006 he is member of Planetek Italia's staff.
