Living Planet Symposium, 23 - 27 June 2025, Vienna - Austria
The ESA Living Planet Symposium 2025 (#LPS25) will take place in Vienna, Austria, from 23 to 27 June 2025.
Planetek Italia will be taking part again this year in the main ESA event dedicated to Earth observation to present the most recent technological and applicative innovations, and the results of the projects in the various domains of Earth observation.
The Planetek team will be present, both to meet and welcome visitors at the company stand, and to contribute to the discussion through speeches and posters, illustrating some recent evidence and solutions, such as: the mapping of the coastal areas of the Mediterranean, the detection of plastic waste at sea, the resilience of critical infrastructures, the mapping of hydrogeological risk, the mapping of soil sealing, the support to agricultural production, the use of ML and AI techniques in the processing of satellite data and AI-eXpress, the innovative program for EO satellite missions co-financed by ESA InCubed.
Si svolge a Vienna in Austria dal 23 al 27 Giugno 2025 il Living Planet Symposium 2025 (#LPS25) dell'ESA.
Planetek Italia partecipa anche quest'anno al principale evento ESA dedicato all'Earth observation per presentare le più recenti innovazioni tecnologiche ed applicative, ed i risultati dei progetti nei vari domini dell'osservazione della Terra.
Il team di Planetek sarà presente, sia per incontrare e accogliere i visitatori nello stand aziendale, sia per contribuire alla discussione attraverso speech e poster, illustrando alcune recenti evidenze e soluzioni, quali: la mappatura delle aree costiere del Mediterraneo, il rilevamento dei rifiuti plastici in mare, la resilienza delle infrastrutture critiche, la mappatura del rischio idrogeologico, la mappatura dell'impermeabilizzazione del suolo, il supporto alla produzione agricola, l'utilizzo di tecniche di ML e AI nella elaborazione dei dati satellitari e AI-eXpress l'innovativo programma per missioni satellitari di EO cofinanziata da ESA InCubed.

Attracting thousands of scientists and data users, ESA’s Living Planet Symposium is amongst the biggest Earth observation conferences in the world.
The Living Planet Symposium will not only see scientists present their latest findings on Earth’s environment and climate derived from satellite data, but will also focus on Earth observation’s role in building a sustainable future and a resilient society. Participants will also be able to explore how emerging technologies are revolutionising the use of Earth observation and how business and the economy can benefit from this new epoch.
