IRIDE is one of Europe's largest space programme for Earth observation consisting of a constellation of satellites. Promoted by the Italian Government, the programme will be implemented in Italy by 2026 with the support of ESA and ASI.
A low earth orbit laboratory will test innovative workflows for Earth observation. Financed by PNRR funds, the In-Orbit Space Lab will be developed by Planetek Italia, D-Orbit and AIKO, to support the activities of the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
Planetek Italia is part of the industrial team, which will build the infrastructure for accessing the data and services of IRIDE - the innovative Italian Earth observation satellite constellation promoted by the Italian Government.
