Planetek Italia has entered the prestigious "Stelle del Sud 2024" ranking by Il Sole 24 Ore, the main financial newspaper in Italy. Another important recognition for Planetek Italia, which ranked 29th in Apulia and the only one in the Italian aerospace sector, in the ranking of the 200 companies in the South with the best growth performance in revenue, employees, and assets.
The survey conducted by Statista and Il Sole 24 Ore evaluates the financial results of companies, focusing also on their ability to be a laboratory for innovation and development, to have a significant impact on the territory, and to contribute to the socio-economic development of the macro-area.
"Stelle del Sud Italia 2024" highlights the 200 companies that distinguished themselves in the period 2019-2022. A challenging period, given that the triennium was characterized by the Covid pandemic.
The presence of Planetek Italia in this list attests to the company's constant commitment to research and innovation in the geospatial technology sector, simultaneously pursuing quality and sustainability in its operations. The list of awards for Planetek Italia also includes other recognitions received over time, among which stand out the Italian "Sustainability Hero 2024" by SME EnterPRIZE, the Welfare Champion of the Welfare Index PMI, and the High Honor of Balance of the Felix Industry Award. Awards that testify to a strong commitment to achieving economic growth performance accompanied by a strong focus on the territory, the well-being of people, and environmental sustainability.
Planetek Italia, which since 2021 is also a Benefit Company pursuing objectives of common benefit, is also among the first signatories of the "Statement for Sustainable Space" promoted by the European Space Agency.
