Planetek Italia per il decimo anno consecutivo è tra le migliori aziende italiane per qualità del welfare aziendale, confermando anche per il 2026 il rating di Welfare Champion italiana.
For the tenth consecutive year, Planetek Italia has been recognised among Italy's leading SMEs for corporate welfare. In 2026, the company once again earned the prestigious Welfare Champion status, awarded to the country's most outstanding examples of workplace welfare..
Bari, 1 July 2026. Planetek Italia has once again been recognised as one of Italy's companies most committed to the well-being of its people, receiving the Welfare Champion 2026 award as part of the Welfare Index PMI, the national initiative promoted by Generali Italia with the participation of Italy's leading business confederations. The programme assesses and celebrates the most effective corporate welfare practices among Italian small and medium-sized enterprises.
The recognition was presented during the national event held on 1 July, when the 2026 Welfare Index PMI Report was unveiled. The report is based on the analysis of approximately 7,000 Italian companies across all sectors of the economy and has become one of the country's leading benchmarks for measuring the maturity of corporate welfare policies and promoting the adoption of best practices.
The Welfare Index PMI initiative was established to foster a stronger culture of corporate welfare and to help businesses assess and improve their people-focused policies. Through a comprehensive evaluation model, the programme identifies organisations that stand out for the quality, breadth and impact of their welfare initiatives, recognising workplace welfare as a key driver of sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness within the Italian economy.
For Planetek Italia, this marks the seventh consecutive confirmation of its Welfare Champion status, highlighting the company's long-standing commitment to creating a workplace where people come first by supporting employee well-being, professional development and a healthy work-life balance.
Workplace welfare has long been one of the defining elements of Planetek Italia's corporate culture and forms part of a broader business model that recognises people as a strategic asset for innovation, competitiveness and sustainable long-term growth.
Over the years, the company has developed a comprehensive welfare ecosystem for its employees, including continuous professional development through the Planetek Academy, flexible working arrangements, initiatives supporting work-life balance, programmes promoting organisational well-being, and activities focused on health, sport, culture and active employee participation in company life.
This approach is fully aligned with Planetek Italia's journey as a Benefit Company. Since 2021, the company has formally embedded in its Statute the commitment to generate not only economic value but also positive social and environmental impact, placing the well-being of people and communities at the heart of its mission.
"Receiving the Welfare Champion recognition once again is an important confirmation of the path we have chosen. The quality of the technologies we develop begins with the quality of the working environment we create every day. Investing in people's well-being means creating the conditions in which talent, collaboration and innovation can thrive. It is a strategic choice that has accompanied Planetek Italia since its foundation and one that is now even more consistent with our journey as a Benefit Company," said Mariella Pappalepore, CFO, Impact Manager and co-founder of Planetek Italia.
Alongside the Welfare Champion recognition, Planetek Italia has received numerous prestigious awards over the years, including the SME EnterPRIZE "Sustainability Hero", the Industria Felix High Budget Honour, Il Sole 24 Ore's "Stelle del Sud" award, and the HappyIndex®AtWork and WeImpactIndex® certifications, further reflecting the company's commitment to responsible business practices and employee well-being.
