    "La città a 1 metro" next appointments in Firenze, Bari and Cosenza.

    The free travelling course "La città a 1 metro" goes on all over Italy. Helded in Venice, the first appointment showed at a crowded classroom how to use Ikonos high resolution satellite images with ER Mapper and how to extract their great information content. Next meetings will be held the 23th of june in Firenze, and the 29th in Bari and Cosenza.

    The IX edition is back in Bari.

    A few places are still available for the reloaded IX edition of the course of GIS & Telerilevamento, organized by Planetek Italia in Bari, from the 5th to the 9th July. The course (35 hours) will provide theoretical and practical skills in the area of integration of remote sensing with the Geographic Information Systems and the use of WebGIS System.

    APACHE is the name of ASI`s, Italian Space Agency, project to realize a National Centre to collect and share data of Hearth observation and scientific missions. Planetek Italia, as a partner of the project, has prepared a questionnaire giving a chance to actual and potential customer of this service to specify more detailed information about their purchasing needs. The deadline is the 30th of june. Download the questionnaire (in english), fill it in and send it to pkapache@planetek.it

    A new WebGis solution available for APAT`s Regional Focal Points.

    Vibo Valentia, Calabria is the town where last 16th and 17th of june has been held the presentation of a new tool available to APAT`s (italian agency for environment protection) Regional Focal Points. Cart@net APAT multiserver is the name of this new solution created to empower the possibility of cartografic data sharing everywhere in the network of SINAnet. This tool is designed to be a friendly and innovative solution to overcome most common problems with archive integration and sharing.
