Cartography of Regione Lombardia, a brand new websiteNew contents and new features on the cartographic website of Regione Lombardia. The website, realized with Cart@net by Planetek Italia, presents the geographic database managed by the Territorial Information System department, among which an orthophotos color mosaic of the whole regional territory. Besides to a new graphics design and a simplified navigation, the site will soon offer the possibility to download the raster and vector data and to print the maps.

The whole Province of Livorno covered by Ikonos imagesOn a sunny day in october, Ikonos has collected over 800 square kilometers on the Elba Island and on the Cecina Valley in Italy. Thanks to this new collection the Province of Livorno has completed the mosaic of high resolution Ikonos imagery provided by Planetek Italia, for the whole territory of the province.

ER Mapper: in December the new release
Many new features have been added to ER Mapper 6.4.
ER Mapper is widely used to enhance and process imagery for use in GIS, CAD, imaging, office and web applications. The latest version of the software has extensive tuning in all areas of image processing to reduce memory requirements when compressing multi-terabyte images. ER Mapper can now reproject images on the fly and it also offers both floating and node locked licenses. -
New ECW Plugin for Trimble ArcPadThis FREE plugin enables Trimble Palmtop PCs with ArcPad 6.0 to open ECW and remote ECW images (ECWP), without limits due to the dimension of files. The new release of the plugin adds the support for Trimble Devices, HPC 2000 and Pocket PC.
