Land protection: appointment in FoggiaPlanetek Italia is pleased to invite you to attend the unique stage of the
Gisitinera seminar in Puglia.
A whole day event, that will take place on
the 11th October, with first a conference and then a technical seminar.The Conference "Land and civil protection: the geographical and satellite
information" will take place from 9 to 13.30 o`clock, in the Classroom 2
of the new center of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of
Foggia. In the same room, from 15.00 to 18.30 o`clock, it will be held a
technical seminar on ArcView 8 organized by GisItalia s.r.l. (a
participation fee is requested). An attestation will be given to all the
participants. -
The italian aerospace SMEto the Word Space Congress 2002 of HoustonThe Italian association of Small and Middle Aerospace Enterprises will be
in Houston, from the 10th to the 19th October, to participate to the 10th
edition of the World Space Congress 2002. The event will be held in the
George R. Brown Convention Center of Houston in Texas. The AIPAS (Italian
Association of the Small and Middle Aerospace Enterprises) will host
Planetek Italia, together with three other Italian companies, to present
to beyond 13 thousand people the applications realized in Italy. From the
discovery of distant planets to medical advancements, from geological
exploration to urban planning, from water on Mars to energy sources in
developing nations, you`ll find it all in the circle of the congress. -
Recruiting a technical salesman: job opportunity in Planetek ItaliaPlanetek Italia is looking for a technical salesman to complete his staff.
The candidate, aged between 26 and 34 years, must be preferably graduate
in engineering with skills in land planning, or graduate in scientific
disciplines and/or have specific skills in land or environmental planning,
with previous experience as consultant for local public administrations.
Good computer skills are required together with the knowledge of
Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing, autonomy and excellent
written and spoken English. The curriculum must be sent exclusively via
e-mail. -
Deafin, a project to recover unused industrial sitesDevelopment Agencies and their impact on Foreign direct INvestments is a
search tool for companies interested in investing in unused industrial
sites supposed to satisfy their needs. Co-financed by the European Union
in the framework of the ReciteII community program, DEAFIN provides
essential information about unused or under-exploited industrial areas
inside the three zones involved at the moment: the Province of Milan, the
County of Vasternorrland and the Land of Brema. The database of the system
allows companies and privates interested in investing, to get data about
the available sites like surrounding infrastructures (for instance
transport networks, telecommunications, etc.), regional market services
together with education and work force. The DEAFIN project has been
developed by Telematic Solutions, Planetek Italia and X-Gate Logistik
Projekte GmbH. -
A course in Rome to learn ER Mapper
The course, organized by Planetek Italia, will be held in Rome, on the
17th and 18th october 2002. 14 hours to supply both theoretical and
practical skills for the use of the image processing software. The course
is addressed to professionals, researches, students that need to know
deeply the features of image processing, compression and integration of
data inside GIS, CAD and Office applications. The course is held in
Italian.
