Planetek Italia s.r.l. was founded in 1994. It is a SME focused on the excellence and quality of its services. To satisfy customers` needs through the development of innovative tailored solutions that integrates state of the art technologies is the basis of company`s mission.
Planetek Italia is one of the main operators in Italy in the field of information sciences applied to land management. The company is active in the development of information solutions for storage, processing and distribution of cartographic databases and satellite remotely sensed images. Its high concern is also testified by the unceasing cooperation with European Union, Universities, Space Agencies, Research Centres and internationally known Companies.

Planetek Hellas EPE is a company of Planetek Italia Group with headquarters in Athens, Greece. Starting from the experience and assets of the group leader, the Greek market approach of Planetek Hellas is lead towards the development of systems and applied solution that benefits of the know-how gained in relevant european programmes in the field of Aerospace Research, system integration, and in the management, analysis and sharing technologies applied to land information.

Geo-K
Founded in april 2006, GEO-K s.r.l. is the first Spin Off company of the University of Roma Tor Vergata. The Mission of GEO-K is to work in the research and development and provide consultancy, services and products in the field of image processing and Remote Sensing (optical, hyperspectral and microvawes). GEO-K can advantage from its highly specialised human resources with a large international experience in European Union and European Space Agency`s project. The
solution developed are provided both to private and public customers with the help of market sensitiveness of Planetek Italia.

GAP
GAP s.r.l. is the acronym of Geophysical Applications Processing s.r.l., a Spin Off company of Politecnico di Bari whose mission is to develop products, processes and services with technological and scientific value in the field of remote sensing and related software/hardware technologies, with a focus on Geomatic solutions and applications.
All the activity is performed on the basis of competencies and pay-offs of research projects, particularly in the remote sensing group of Dipartimento InterAteneo di Fisica. Another relevant member and partner of GAP is CNR-ISSIA, the Institute for high studies on Intelligent Automation Systems based in Bari, Italy.
The specialised competencies of GAP are on satellite remote sensing, and particularly two areas:
* Earth surface millimetric movements detection through the interferometric analysis of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data;
* Water quality estimation through the analysis of passive sensor working in optical radiation.
